Alexandra Mora has been taking legal seminars on legal issues related to same sex couples in order to provide better advice to all of her clients, particularly those here in New Orleans, and Louisiana.

As many are aware, the United States Supreme Court recently overturned Section 3 of DOMA grants same-sex married couples the same federal benefits as other married couples, but the ruling also raises many questions.

She will be attending an upcoming seminar covering federal benefits and obligations post-DOMA, portability issues, and how the ruling affects families and children.
