A New Orleans Law Firm Serving the Southeast.
Personal Attention. Proven Results.
We provide personal attention to meet your legal needs. Ms. Mora has served New Orleans and neighboring areas in southern Louisiana for nearly 20 years. She is an experienced litigator in federal and state court. Prior to opening her own practice, Ms. Mora worked for a host of non-profits, challenging unfair housing practices and enforcing voter registration laws. Ms. Mora and her staff will listen compassionately to your legal problems, provide you with practical legal advice, and aggressively defend your rights and pursue your claims. The Mora Law Firm has a general civil practice, including commercial law, business law, employment law, compliance, civil rights, personal injury, car accidents, and offshore accidents.
I am committed to doing an excellent job for my clients, and to improving the lives of those in need of help in our community. Prior to opening my own practice, I worked for non-profits on civil rights, voting rights, and discrimination cases. I then briefly worked for a maritime firm. In 2000, I opened my own practice. Since then, I have enjoyed a varied practice, which includes advising small businesses, business formation, commercial litigation, civil rights, entertainment law, family law, personal injury, and offshore accidents. I am a qualified mediator. I am also pleased to announce I was appointed as Honorary Consul of Switzerland for New Orleans in the fall of 2008.
We would be pleased to represent you and assist you with your legal issues. Licensed in Louisiana and New York.
Our mission is to ensure worthy causes and clients receive the best representation for right outcomes. We do not represent large corporations; instead, our focus is on local community members, small business owners, and social influencers seeking information, justice, and an experienced advocate. It’s not about money but about making a difference that matters.
Values are the compass that interpret the world in practical terms for taking right action. They are the filter through which responsible decision-making occurs. At Mora Law, our values include the following.
Use intelligence. When you ask better questions and think with clarity, you get predictable results. Allow disruption, countered by adaptive thinking, to breakthrough dysfunctional patterns and systems for justice.
Keep it real. The practice of law is not what you see on tv; instead, it’s about honesty, follow-through, and straightforward, meaningful conversations.
Invest in people. Our community is everything, including our collective future. We believe in the strength of local relationships and businesses and invest time, energy, and resources accordingly.
Individuality. Each person has distinct needs and each case has unique requirements. We respect and encourage people to be who they are, to speak their truth, and pursue right outcomes for their case.
