Attorney Alexandra Mora Becomes Board Member and Officer of Friends of Studio in the Woods

A long-time supporter of Studio in the Woods, Attorney Mora recently became a board member and now the secretary of “Friends of Studio in the Woods,” which provides support to the organization.  Studio in the Woods is close to her heart as it weds a commitment to nature and to art. The land is located on the Westbank, on a piece of property purchased in 1969 by the Carmichaels. They were activists, artists and educators who were committed to helping the community around them. In 2001, they  founded Studio in the Woods to further their mission of supporting artists and the environment. Today, Studio in the Woods offers exhibits, educational programs, and artist-in- residence programs.
